Hi Diane,
It looks like Lulu is not very good anymore. Since they tried to update, the website is falling apart. I have 2 books to publish and I don’t want to wait for them. Is there another self publishing company you recommend?
Thanks for your advise in advance!
Lende
Hi Lende. I really don’t have another recommendation. It certainly is a big change at Lulu and I have not run a book through the new screens, but they made sense to me and looked workable. I thought there were definite shortcomings to the old configuration, so I will probably hang in there with the new site and see how I do. One thing I noticed is they now help you re-use a cover, something that was never possible before. Let me know if you make any progress.
Thanks Diane. I am not able to get my book past the design stage. its all uploaded PDF cover is finished. But nothing works. I was doing well on the old Lulu. Wish I could contact someone there to see what’s up, but I only get an automated response.

Actually, now I get a better sense of what the problem is. Taking a project and editing it was always awkward on lulu. My suggestion, painful as it might be, is to start over with a brand new project, use those uploaded files again, and then create a new cover. This way you can do the whole thing on the new screens. I wish you luck.
Hi Diane, Thought you’d like to know I was able to order!!!!
That’s fabulous! Hope I see a picture of this someday!
